THE FRENCH MANOIR

 

Our petit château. has been fully restored and renovated to a high-standard with modern comforts. Here are the facilities you will be able to access while staying at the château. Currently we can only accept maxium upto 6 people staying in the chateau.

(Ground Floor)

​

• Living Room: 

The perfect room to relax after a day enjoying the French countryside. In summer open the windows onto the front garden area with a pond and beautiful garden view or in winter snuggle on the comfortable sofas with a book in front of a roaring fire in the gorgeous fireplace. TV and DVD player are available for your entertainment.

​

• Dining room:

A separate formal dining room adjoins the kitchen. Beautifully decorated with French antique objects and traditional French furniture to enjoy a special meal. The fireplace can be used on a chilly night for a cosy dinner experience.

​

• Kitchen:

The kitchen is beautifully decorated and fully equipped to the highest of standards. A six-ring gas cooker and oven, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, plus all you could ever want in the way of crockery. There is a table and four chairs in the kitchen. For a special meal, you are welcome to use our extensive collection of exquisite French china.

• Library:

The library is located next to the living room with a comfortable sofa to enjoy many collections of books and magazines.

• Laundry room:

The laundry room is located next to the library with washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and a toilet.  

 

(1st Floor)

• Bedrooms:

All the bedrooms are located on the first floor and are beautifully decorated with French antique furniture and objects.

Bedroom 2 - Double bed x 2
Bedroom 3 - Double bed x 1 (or 2 x twin beds) with a fireplace

• Bathrooms:

En-suite shower room in bedroom 1 with a shower, toilet, vanity unit and dressing area.

Family bathroom with traditional French-style bathtub, separate shower, toilet and vanity unit.

 

(2nd Floor)

(Exterior)

• Garden

Two acres of garden. Traditional French table and chairs are available to use to enjoy sitting or eating outside. The garden is totally surrounded with mature trees and fences and so is very secluded.

 

(Amenities/facilities)

Secure parking, garden and garden furniture. BBQ area.
Dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas cooker, oven, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, and iron.
Wifi access throughout the house and some parts of the garden.

• Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service

Bed linen, towels, and kitchen towels are included in the price. For stays of more than one week, these will be changed. End of stay cleaning is included. extra cleaning can be arranged for an extra cost (please contact us for details).
